Stand Up Paddleboarding has been used around the world for centuries as a means of transportation on lakes, rivers and the ocean. In the 1960’s it came into it’s element as a recreational activity when Hawaiian surf instructors needed a dry and stable platform for their camera’s in order to photograph clients. In recent years SUP has grown exponentially in popularity with people across the country surfing ocean swells, navigating whitewater rivers and even doing yoga on lakes.
