Taking stand-up paddle boarding to the river!
Colorado has some of the best scenic rivers and whitewater in the country. What better way to experience it than on a SUP? We start gently on the first day with class I water on the Colorado River. Instructors will teach you how to take all you have learned on the lake and apply it to a river experience so that you can control your board in moving water. This class is a great first step for people who are comfortable on flat water and want to take their SUP skills to the next level.
Lessons run rain or shine, so check out our recommended gear list for suggestions on what to bring to be prepared.

From Denver: Take I-70 to the Dotsero exit (exit 133), about 130 miles. After taking the off ramp, turn right onto the frontage road going west for about 100 yards. The meeting place is in a dirt lot on the right of the road named Dotsero Landing, immediately before you get to the Colorado River. If you cross the river you've gone too far. The dirt parking lot is on the upstream side of the frontage road next to the river. This class begins at 9am.
Eagle County charges a $5 per vehicle parking fee at Dotsero Landing. Please bring cash for the fee and display parking pass on the dash of the vehicle.
