This course is designed for people to whom paddling is a new sport and who want to get into the exciting sport of whitewater kayaking.
Itinerary
In this class you will learn the most important skill needed in kayaking, how to get out of a capsized kayak easily and safely. Once you have mastered this skill it is on to learning how to paddle efficiently. You will finish up by learning the hip-snap by practicing the t-rescue.
Recommended Gear List
We provide all the necessary equipment needed for the class. All you need to bring is a swimsuit and towel. Nose plugs and goggles are helpful if you have them.
