This 3 day series is a great way to get started kayaking on rivers. By the time you are finished you will know what it is to have fun kayaking down a river. We start on a lake to master basic skills. Then it is off to the river where the real excitement and fun begins. We practice everything from how to stop on a river to surfing some great waves. Navigation is not a problem by day three, you will see where you want to go and understand how to get there. The Colorado River near Glenwood, CO is one of the best locations in the country to learn how to kayak. The river is natural and beautiful allowing you the opportunity to truly “Find Yourself Outdoors”
