Beginner / Intermediate Kayaking

Strokes - lake (draw stroke, sculling)

Prerequisites: Introduction to River Kayaking Lesson or equivalent experience

The three basic strokes you learned to get started were great but there are so many more. This course teaches many strokes, from those used to catch technical eddies to those used to play in holes and surf waves. Proper paddle use can make kayaking so much easier and fun.

 

Private courses can be arranged for individuals or groups. Topics covered are completely up to you and can range from one on one instruction in the pool for improving roll technique to guided trips on various classes of rivers. Call us so that we can create a program that fits your needs. Below are our rates for 2 hours, 1/2 day and full day. We can customize courses for any length of time.

Cancellation (Refund) Policy:

Classes in Colorado (kayaking lesson, open pool sessions, avalanche, snowshoeing, etc.)

If you need to cancel your reservation, you may do so in advance, 5 business days (or more).  However, your refund will incur a 10% cancellation fee. 

If you need to cancel your reservation within 2 business days of the class departure date, funds are committed and you will be charged the entire amount for the class. NO REFUNDS!

Refunds will ONLY be given if Renaissance Adventure Guides is unable to provide the class as described (excluding location changes due to water level or weather fluctuations).

You can reschedule your class (subject to availability) without any penalties as long as you contact Renaissance Adventure Guides within 2 business days (during normal office hours) of your class departure date.
