After completing the three-day SPI course, you may enroll in the two-day assessment. Upon successfully demonstrating the competencies presented in the SPI course you will be certified as an AMGA Single Pitch Instructor. This certification is nationally recognized and is being increasingly required by outdoor education institutions as a condition of employment as a rock-climbing instructor. The course is taught by David Sweet, an AMGA certified guide/instructor trainer.
Cancellation (Refund) Policy:
Classes in Colorado (kayaking lesson, open pool sessions, avalanche, snowshoeing, etc.)
If you need to cancel your reservation, you may do so in advance, 5 business days (or more). However, your refund will incur a 10% cancellation fee.
If you need to cancel your reservation within 2 business days of the class departure date, funds are committed and you will be charged the entire amount for the class. NO REFUNDS!
Refunds will ONLY be given if Renaissance Adventure Guides is unable to provide the class as described (excluding location changes due to water level or weather fluctuations).
You can reschedule your class (subject to availability) without any penalties as long as you contact Renaissance Adventure Guides within 2 business days (during normal office hours) of your class departure date.
