Roll Class 9/22/09

I just wanted to say thanks for taking the "Intro the Roll" class with me tonight as it was a pleasure to meet you and spend some time with you teaching you the ROLL (most of which you already knew)!
First thing I want you to know: DO NOT FRET IF YOU DID NOT GET THE ROLL 100%! It takes most people an average of 6 hours of instruction JUST WORKING SPECIFICALLY on the roll to become somewhat consistent. And it takes YEARS of practice to become 100% consistent. However, you all have had a really great start as your skills were EXCELLENT! You were just a pure pleasure to teach as you had obviously worked very hard all summer boating! So proud of you for sticking with it and trusting me with trying a different boat! You are an awesome boater and will be EVEN BETTER next summer – guaranteed!
As I said earlier tonight, please consider our Open Pool session on Tue and Thu nights at the Golden Rec Center. You can pay a $10 entry fee (to us) and if you need gear, we also rent boats for $10 per session. It’s a great way to practice everything you have learned!. Just keep in mind reservations are required and please specify the boat you want (Jackson Little Hero).
