River Kayaking 8/1 and 8/2/09
Hi Everyone,
This past weekend was great!!! You all did very well and have started your whitewater career. What do you do next? Paddle, play have fun and of course RELAX ;) I hope that you all had a chance to meet other and become paddle partners. If not, not all is lost. please come and join us at Renaissance On The River. It is an event we do every Wednesday out at Golden http://raguides.com/blog/recent-adventures/join-ra-guides-for-renaissance-on-the-river-every-wednesday-night-starting-5-20-09/ . You will have an opportunity to paddle and meet others. It is free if you have your own gear and only $10 if you need to use ours.
Jon and Prakash- Great to see you guys getting crazy with it. Rocks are not to be feared but loved.
Tyler- You were looking great out there. Lets get those friends of yours and have a party on the river. Give me a call.
Suzanne, Dan and Veronica- It was great to see you all come out together and have such a great time. I hope day two was great.
Jason- I am very glad you joined us on the canyon for day two. That last rapid was great, except that small rock (fu rock as we call them). I have been thinking of you often, I hope you are feeling better.
David- It was a joy to have you on the water with us. Geordie said you had a better second day. I didn't think your first day was bad. When I started it was common for me to be the captain of the swim team and yes you were the captain.
Bonnie and Ambereen- We missed you for day two. It was great to see the two of you have fun running the rapids.
Gary- It is always great to have you out on the water with us.
Thank you all for a great weekend. I have not gotten a day off yet. I came back and started a kids camp on Monday, so I have not been able to upload the photos but I will.
