Kayaking Lake Class Sat 6/27/09
Hey Folks,
Thanks for a great day on Saturday. Reed and I had a great time with you at the lake. Everyone did a bang-up job learning the basics of kayaking. I highly recommend taking a river lesson if you haven't signed up, or been on one yet.
If you'd like some more practice on the skills that we learned, you can come to Thursday night open pool sessions at the Golden Rec Center for $10. If you want more instruction on anything we've covered, we offer a series on Tuesday nights that includes wet exits through t-rescues, t-rescues through bracing, and rolling depending on which night you're there, for $60. Lessons include gear, but gear rental for open pool is $10. Call ahead to rent gear and to check on availability (303-988-2943), or book at www.raguides.com.
Come visit us at Renaissance on the River, a free event ($10 covers rental for all clothing and boats you may need) every Wednesday night, 5:30 pm until dark. We will have duckies, kayaks, all the clothing you'll need, a hot grill, and a good time.
