 It’s Patty, your Renaissance Adventure Guides instructor! 

 I just wanted to say thanks for taking the "Intro the Roll" class with me Tue night as it was  a pleasure to meet you and spend some time with you teaching you the ROLL!  

 First thing I want you to know:  DO NOT FRET IF YOU DID NOT GET THE ROLL 100%!  It takes most people an average of 6 hours of instruction JUST WORKING SPECIFICALLY on the roll to become somewhat consistent.   And it takes YEARS of practice to become 100% consistent.  However, you both have had a really great start as your skills were EXCELLENT!   You were just a pure pleasure to teach   So proud of you both for sticking with it !    You are awesome boaters and will be EVEN BETTER next summer – guaranteed!

 As I said earlier,  please consider our Open Pool session on Tue and Thu nights at the Golden Rec Center.  You can pay a $10 entry fee (to us) and if you need gear, we also rent boats for $10 per session.  It’s a great way to practice everything you have learned!.   Just keep in mind reservations are required and please specify you will need a boat rental.  Here’s how you can do it online:  http://raguides.com/kayaking-school/pool-classes/open-pool/   Or of course feel free to call the office anytime and they will book you!

 Here’s the Club I mentioned you should join.  Membership is $30 per year.  They have a "Training Camp" coming up in May that would be fun for you to come to – meet some fun/nice  peeps!  I will be there and can offer you a friendly face to intro you to some people and just have a good time.  Book before Christmas and save $50 per person:  www.ColoradoWhiteWater.org
