Intro to the Roll 6/29/10
Hello Everyone!
It’s Patty, your Renaissance Adventure Guides instructor!
First thing I want you to know: DO NOT FRET IF YOU DID NOT GET THE ROLL THIS PAST TUE NIGHT! It takes most people an average of 6 hours JUST WORKING SPECIFICALLY on the roll to become somewhat consistent. And it takes YEARS of practice to become 100% consistent. However, you have had a really good start and we will get you dialed in during our next class: Mastering the Roll!!

REMINDER: On Wed evenings (until the water becomes too low), we also offer free instructional sessions at the Clear Creek Whitewater Park (across from the Rec Center) on 10th St in Golden. We call these events "Renaissance on the River". If you need gear, rentals are $10 per person. Hours are 5:30pm to 8pm. No reservations necessary, just find us at our big truck. First come / first served. If you have friends that have never taken lessons (or you are not comfortable in moving whitewater yet), they (and/or you) are welcome to try our inflatable duckies!!
