Dear Everyone from Aug 15-16 Glenwood/Colorado River Trip,

I wanted to send you a follow up email because I had so much fun with you all and that you guys truly ROCKED!

I just wanted to say thanks for joining us and choosing RA Guides this weekend. Everyone was fantastic and I really enjoyed teaching each of you.  The weather was great (minus that first little round of lighting).

A couple of things I want to tell you about:  the first one is about your Continuing Education!   You guys have gotten a good feel for moving water now, and you taken a basic/intro class.  So next would be mastering your roll:

 Also, please consider our Open Pool session on Thu night at the Golden Rec Center.  You can pay a $10 entry fee (to us) and if you need gear, we also rent for $10 per session.  It’s a great way to practice everything you have learned (or are about to learn).   Just keep in mind reservations are required and these sessions fill up very quickly so make them well in advance.  You can do so by calling the office (number is below) or by using this link:  http://raguides.com/kayaking-school/pool-classes/open-pool/ 

And finally, there is “Renaissance on the River” which is about done for the season.  Every Wed night, we go to the play park in Golden to hold free sessions (instruction is free / gear rental is $10).  You can either paddle around in the pond with us and take it easy, or we can take you down the actual play park run for you to get a taste of whitewater.   We also have inflatable kayaks for you to jump in (along with all the gear to keep you warm and floating) as well as guides to keep an eye on you.  It’s a GREAT way to have some fun and enjoy yourselves!  We are there 5:30pm to about 8pm.  Just look for our big box truck and come over to say hi.  The play park is located on 10th Street in Golden (across the pond from the rec center).  No reservations necessary.   We will be there Wed, Aug 19 and Wed, Aug 26 for our final two weeks.
