Find yourself in the backcountry
Before you hit the trail, you need to make sure the trail won’t be hitting you back.
Renaissance Adventure Guides offers Level I and II avalanche safety courses developed by the American Institute for Avalanche Research and Education (AIARE). All of our instructors are AIARE qualified instructors or course leaders. The AIARE curriculum stresses decision making skills for winter backcountry travelers. Whether you are snowshoeing, boarding out of bounds, doing a hut trip or chasing the steep and deep on AT or tele gear, our Level I Avalanche class is your first step to a safe and successful journey.
